Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Primary Run

Everthing was working well until i installed the guest additions for full screen

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Primary Run.

No error info.

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ProgressProxy

Please advise how to fix

next time it would be best if you just save the vbox.log, compress it and attach it to a message as a file.

I'm not sure why the versions don't match. Might be a Windows host issue.

Without even seeing the whole log your guest should only be set to use 768MB of RAM

Thank you for your responses i am very new and in learning stages for setting up the VB for both firewall and browsing.

You need to post the vbox.log after the guest is shutdown. :)

All is shut down when i saved the logs

I guess ill start again and re load it again i was trying to set up the firewall and full screen then restarted and it crashed but the firewall VB works fine.

it looks like you don't have near enough memory to run Windows as a guest.

Thanks man , I did get windows memory issue on install on this laptop thats why -- thanks so much for the help.
