The host is one i5 8Gb solid state hd. I set the guest with 64 MB Video RAM and 4gb RAM.
When I play some YouTube's song it does play very slow, vibrating, low pitch
Does anyone have any idea? Anyone else run audio songs in a VirtualBox VM?

Re: Audio plays very slow
I play audio from all sorts of sources and all sorts of formats. In Linux and Windows guests. Never had the symptoms you mention. What Audio guest settings are you using for the Host Driver and Controller?

Can you post the vbox.log (compressed) for your guest? When you say "some" youtube songs play slowly, is it just a few or most etc.? Do other types of audio play ok?

All of them is quite different than some youtube songs.enricviv wrote: All of them, including mp3 files played directly via player.
Usually the reason that would happen is if the sampling rate for audio is different on the host than on the guest.

I just looked at the log. You are trying to run OSX again and were warned about that. Twice.
