Bridged Mode is killing hosts internet connection

With Win8.1 host and Win7 guest using a bridged connection, the host loses it's internet connect sometimes. I have to disconnect from the router (wireless) and reconnect and this will usually fix the problem. I tried disabling to NIC sleep mode to no avail.

FWIW the guest does not have an internet connection.

Depending on your wireless hardware, this simply might not work at all. Does it work if you bridge on a wired connection instead?
