install ubuntu?

Post by harry747 »

hi.
i just created a new VM for ubuntu. but now the question is, how do i actually install ubuntu in that new VM? do i have to burn ubuntu to a CD and then install it from that CD into my new VM, or is there an easier way?

gee, you really don't look at manuals. :D

just attach the .iso directly to the CD/DVD controller in the storage settings.

Ok, I managed to install Ubuntu, but now I have another problem:

Screen resolution is stuck at 640x480 which in nowhere near enough. Problem is, 640x480 is the only option available in the system settings. Is there a setting that I havent found? What can I do?
