Help please (0x80004005)

Post by WhyNunuWhy »

I Can't start any virtual machine since a few days. I tried to uninstall, delete manually all configuration and install again. But nothing. :(

Allways shows the same error:

"Fallo al abrir una sesión para la máquina virtual OpenSUSE 13.2.

Unable to load R3 module D:\Archivos de programa\Virtual Box/VBoxDD.DLL (VBoxDD): GetLastError=1790 (VERR_UNRESOLVED_ERROR).

Código Resultado: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Componente: Console
Interfaz: IConsole {8ab7c520-2442-4b66-8d74-4ff1e195d2b6}"

I have windows 7 SP1 Professional X64 and virtualbox (v 4.3.20) installed on the second HDD.

The drive letter changed, but when I did a format 1 month, approximately. I don't think that influence.

Your error code and the behavior seems really familiar. Take a look at the discussion: Windows 4.3.20 specifically for errors due to security. You might find some newer test builds and/or other helpful hints.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

I have not installed KB3004394.

1) Host OS and version: Posted in the first message.
2) VBoxStartup.log (zipped): The more similar files I found were in the "C: ~~ \ VirtualBox VMs \ OpenSUSE 13.2 \ Logs" folder. I've attached.
3) Mention any host anti-virus, firewalls, protection software, and debugging programs etc which might be relevant: Comodo antivirus ("hips" on mode learning), windows firewall, CCleaner, System Ninja, Bleach bit.

You've customized your Windows theme, that's why the failure. As I said, take a look at the discussion: Windows 4.3.20 specifically for errors due to security. You might find some newer test builds and/or other helpful hints. If not, revert to 4.3.12 until this is resolved. Oh, and the logs are supposed to be attached to that thread, the developers are monitoring it.
