Virtualbox: deactivate autostart?

Hi,

I successfully installed Virtualbox under Xubuntu Gutsy and everything is fine and up running with XP as guest.

However, I only use Virtualbox rarely, and thus I would like to turn off the autostart of Virtualbox when I start X. Currently, the application (not the VM!) starts one process in the foreground and two in the background whenever I log into X with XFCE.

How can I turn that off?

I cannot disable it under "Settings -> Autostarted Applications" in XFCE because Virtualbox isn't even listed there.

Any suggestions would be highly welcome!

Thanks in advance!

This is strange, I don't have any VB process running on my Xubuntu Hardy. Check the services, maybe there is something there. I don't remember any VB processes running when I was on Gutsy.

no, nothing there in services - I also noticed that the update notifier which I deseletcted in "Asutostarted Applications" is still being started automatically by XFCE. And I can only delect it, but not remove it from the list. Very strange.
