Re: clipboard
What data type are you cutting and pasting? Are the Guest Additions installed? (in the guest).
I'm not happy about "settings are correct" either. How do I know what that means or if it's true? Be specific.

Re: clipboard
Thanks for the response.
I'm trying to copy and past a number and some text.
Shared clipboard is set to Host to Guest, drag'nDrop to Host to Guest
I don't know if the guest additions have been installed.
How can I check that?

Re: clipboard
If you didn't install them they aren't installed. Can you switch your Windows guest to full screen?

Re: clipboard
First, Drag n Drop only works from a host to a Linux guest.
Shared clipboard should work in either direction. With your Windows guest shutdown, please attach its vbox.log file (compressed).

Re: clipboard
btw, make sure your username is a member of the vboxuser group.
in the Xubuntu terminal…
replace username with your login name. reboot Xubuntu
in the Xubuntu terminal…
Code: Select all
sudo adduser username vboxuserOSX, Linux and Windows Hosts & Guests
