Installed Guest Additions, but USB 2.0 not working

I've installed VirtualBox Guest Additions into my VM, but when I try to enable USB 2.0 (EHCI), I get the "Invalid Settings Detected" warning.

My guest is Windows 7, and my host is Ubuntu 14.04.1. I'm running VirtualBox 4.3.10_Ubuntu r93012, with Guest Additions ISO 4.3.10-1. I can see the "Guest Additions" icon in the taskbar of Windows.

Any ideas?

Did you install the extension pack? You need it for USB. The extension pack and VB version need to match.

You should uninstall VB 4.3.10, download and install VB 4.3.20 and update the guest additions in your Windows guest as well
