I encountered this error when running my Windows Embedded 7 32-bit Guest VM on a Windows 7 64 bit Host. It happens sporadically after about 5-20 minutes of non-activity.
I'm using VirtualBox 4.3.18 r96516 win.amd64. The Virtualbox and Windows 7 Embedded Guest is a migration over from my old notebook also running Windows 7 64 bit and VirtualBox VM4.3.18 - I copied over the Virtualmachine folders to the same path on my new notebook and replaced the default VirtualBox.xml with the one from my old notebook computer.
After this, I removed the Windows 7 Embedded VM, created a new VM, reinstall Windows 7 Embedded, but the problem remains.
I've gone through vbox.log but can't see any reason stated, or at least I'm not able to recognize the error.
