All VM, aslo new VM show this error on startup:

C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox>VBoxManage.exe startvm Asterisk

Solved

need to uninstall windows update - KB3004394

That fixed my VirtualBox problem as well. I'm also reading/hearing other comments about this patch, and wanted to corroborate the fix.
