DVD Rom Thinks it's a CD Rom
When I add my DVD Writer to my Windows 8.1 guest it thinks it's a CD Rom. Can someone tell me the correct way to setup a DVD Rom. I want to burn a ISO file to a DVD.

Enable passthrough in the guests setting.

Pass Thru was checked. If I use image burn I get failed to set write parameters: Error 0x8007045D. I also see Parameter List Length Error. Window just thinks it a CD Rom and won't burn a DVD.

Wow. I guess it must be a Windows issue. I burn all the time. You may need to post a topic at bugtracker

No I had the controller set at IDE for that feature. I deleted that controller and add the DVD Rom to the Sata Controller now it works.
