When I try to install Ubuntu guest OS along side another guest OS... inside virtualbox on a Mac...it wants to erase the Virtual drive.
I want to create it alongside another guest without blowing the other away. Not sure how to accomplish this during the Ubuntu install process.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Ubuntu Guest alongside another Guest OS
Each guest OS has its own (unshared) virtual drive, which is just a VDI file on your host. Other VMs will not be affected when you create a new one.

Re: Ubuntu Guest alongside another Guest OS
As mpack said you can just create a new VM for Ubuntu. If for some reason you want to create a dual boot VM/.vdi, it can be done and the Ubuntu installer will ask if you want it to install itself along side the existing OS. If you want to do that I would make a backup of the original .vdi first in case something goes wrong. I have done it twice just to see if it can be done. I had no good reason to do it however.
