Access on localhost virtual box from Windows

On win7 i install virtualbox and start up apache server. How can i can get access to the localhost apache from windows?

I am having similar problems. I am not able to view the "it works" page. Nor can i view my enabled site i created.

How have you configured networking in the vm? The default setting of NAT alone will not let you see the guest from the host. Configure the guest to use Host Only networking for this.

You cannot use "localhost" unless you are actually in the machine hosting the web server. Use the VM machine's name or IP address to access it from the host OS.
