FTP server help

I'm very new to networking and trying to set up my first basic FTP server. I have 2 VM's. One is the server (Windows server 2012) and the other is the client (Windows 7 pro). I have already installed and configured IIS. I know that I'm supposed to go to Add FTP Site, put a name, and the physical path. Under binding, I think I'm supposed to put my server's IP. This is pretty much where I'm stuck. Under Allow access to, what should I put so that my client can have access to the FTP folder?
Can you please include steps on how to test everything out?
Thank you

Can you pose this question in a form that makes it relevant to a VirtualBox forum?
I can tell you that you can't use NAT networking in the VM. Otherwise, a step by step on configuring an FTP server application is well beyond the scope of these forums. I'm sure there are places on the web where you can find more specific expertise on that subject. E.g. if the FTP server is a Microsoft product then perhaps try a Microsoft support forum. No doubt books are available too.

I'm afraid that doesn't make the question relevant. HP happens to make the computer I'm using now, but I would not ask HP how to set up an FTP server, I would ask whomever makes the FTP server software.
