I'm trying to install Windows 7 64 bit and am receiving this message: (attachment)

The installer is a WinPE ISO file that reaches out to the SCCM infrastructure to pull the image down. Also, it appears I don't have network access through VB.

Which Windows version is the WinPE ISO based on?
I've seen descriptions of this error with Win 8.1 when the guest operating system type was not set to Win8.1 (64bit)

It's WinPE5, and the guest OS is Win 7 64 bit.

According to Wikipedia, WinPE5 is based on the Windows 8.1 kernel, not Win7, in which case you should be using the Win8.1 (64bit) template in VirtualBox. The triple fault error you're getting is evidence that Wikipedia is correct (it's the same error people get if they use the Win8 template to install Win8.1).

Win PE 5 is only the OS on the installer disk. The image it will load is Win 7 Enterprise. I'm not loading Win 8.1 as the guest OS. FWIW, the image is pulled down from an SCCM server.

What is the relevance of that? It's the PE5 disk you said you were trying to boot, hence that is what is giving the boot error.

Rather than argue, why not try the suggested fix? It would only take you a few seconds.
