I wanted to run Docker on my Windows 7 machine.
But the Boot2Docker Image (Linux, 64Bit) is not running because of missing VT-x support?! The Virtualsisation-feature is enabled in BIOS...
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz
Intel64 Family 6 Model 58 Stepping 9, GenuineIntel
Microcode signature: 00000012
HTT * Hyperthreading enabled
HYPERVISOR - Hypervisor is present
VMX * Supports Intel hardware-assisted virtualization
SVM - Supports AMD hardware-assisted virtualization
X64 * Supports 64-bit mode
now, after upgrading from 4.3.18 to 4.3.20 there is no possibilty to create any 64bit vm, only 32bit.. All tools say that vt-x is enabled.. except VirtualBox.
I have no hyper-v installed
thanks in advance for your help

Re: Missing VT-x (i7-3610QM)
Nested virtualization is not supported.

Where is nested virtualisation?
I want to run a 64bit VM in Virtual Box under Windows... There is nothing nested

Re: Missing VT-x (i7-3610QM)
If BootDocker itself requires VT-x then that makes it a nested VM platform (or a system level debugger, which I assume it isn't).
VirtualBox uses VT-x itself, current versions do not pass VT-x to the guest.
If your first post is badly worded and the error is actually coming from VirtualBox, and not BootDocker, then see FAQ: I have a 64bit host but can't install 64bit guests.
