Hi,
sorry for my English ;-)

I have problem with my modem wwan Dell Wireless DW5570 HSPA+ 42Mbps.
I have had virtual machine with windows 7 and I can`t install drivers to my modem wwan. All drivers which are installed were not supported, but i can install them on my laptop with windows 7. When I installed drivers in my virtual machine i had an error: the installer package is not designed for computers that brand.
I have dell e5440, and VB 4.3.12
Maybe, You had simillar problem.
Thanks for help in advance.

Regards
Wojtek

Your virtual machine uses virtual hardware (except the CPU). You will not see your wireless modem. What you'll see is (most probably) an Intel PRO/1000 network card (a wired card). You can utilize your modem by either choosing "NAT" or "Bridged" in the network settings.

Thanks for Your answer.
I used wwan modem on my last laptop e6410, i had virtualbox and modem working. I don`t remeber which modem i had.
I've added my wwan modem in settings - USB - Enable USB Controller - see in attachment.

You might try enabling the USB2 (EHCI) Controller

To fix this problem either install the 'Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack' or disable USB 2.0 support
Location of the Extension Pack: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Be sure to download the same version as your VirtualBox. In your case Extension Pack 4.3.12, found in the older builds section: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds
