I would like to build a general clone of an installation of Windows on VirtualBox using Acronis because I would like to have a backup that it works on each hardware but when I use V.B. with Acronis I read this message:

This kernel requires the following features not present in the cpu:
pae
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropiate for your CPU

I think you have to be a little more detailed in what you want to do. If you want a backup of your Windows guest you can just backup it's folder or export it as an appliance. What does Acronis have to do with anything?

Lou is correct but to answer your error message.
You need to enable pae in the guest settings. Look in the processor settings section.

I solved the problem (there was a missing check in virtualbox) and I was able to do the backup with Acronis but I get other errors during the implementation of the project. I could not do "stamp r sist" because I had problems with the keyboard and mouse during operations. Acronis writes in red these messages, I just remember this. Could you send to me a guide "step by step" to make general backups of Windows with Acronis Backup Advanced 11.5 please?

I'm afraid that this would be a question for Acronis Backup Advanced support line and/or support forums.

As Lou mentioned in first reply, you don't need Acronis to backup a VM: just copy the host VM folder to secondary storage. If you want to image a Windows installation from inside then Disk2VHD produces images in VHD format, which can be opened on the host (with suitable softwae) and/or used directly in a VM without having to restore anything. Acronis is great for backing up physical PCs, but is really a poor choice for your application if I understand you at all.
