installing VM on OS X Yosemite fails

Hi,

I have installed virtualbox but it seems I cannot boot my VM Windows7 as I have the following error:

Failed to open the optical disk file /Users/username/VirtualBox VMs/Windows 7/Windows7.dmg.

Could not get the storage format of the medium '/Users/username/VirtualBox VMs/Windows 7/Windows7.dmg' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).

What is your Windows7.dmg supposed to be? To install Windows 7 as a guest you need the Windows 7 install DVD or the equivalent .iso file.
