Hi guys,
I think I'm jinxed: after failing to install the latest Ubuntu (both stable and dev) in VirtualBox on Windows 8.1 Update, I'm now trying to install (done) and run (not so) VirtualBox on the latest public Windows 10 Technical Preview build, 9879, and failing badly, once again.
As I said, install went fine, no blue screen, no error messages, a walk in the park. Then I tried to launch the program, and that's when trouble began. Basically, whether I just double-click on the desktop shortcut, right-click to run as Administrator, or do all of the above directly from the executable in Program Files, nothing happens.
If Task Manager is running, I briefly see the VirtualBox process appear, then vanish almost at once, and that's that.
Ideas, anyone?
Oh, and for those who are interested, here's the log of the whole disaster:

The only version of VirtualBox that will run on Windows 10 TP as far as I know is 4.3.12.

There are three groups of people. Those that can count and those that can't.

Re: Windows 10 Technical Preview (host): VirtualBox won't st
Hi,
I'm running (or trying to, more like) 4.3.18, so you think there's no chance this will work? I'm going to download 4.3.12, just in case. Thanks for taking the time!
EDIT: 4.3.12 installed fine, and started! Thanks so much!
