Sorry for my English. I have a problem

For work I need a virtual machine (virtualbox) with xp and to mobile internet (plus modem Huawei). The host computer 7-Ka. I had just done. Work year was ok. Unfortunately I had to do the main computer format. Now three days I can not do it as it was.

I installed already 2 version of VirtualBox (the most recent and older) with Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack, 3 times xp and 1 seven. The result is always the same. Virtual machine powers on, turn Topnet info, connects to, so much WORKS 2-3 minutes (a few mb transfer) then stops. Virtalny computer lightly hangs. Kind of work, but do not hang up, do not connect again. Even the virtual machine does not turn off. I turn it on the potency of the host computer task manager. I turn again and the same.

please help

You are transferring ownership of almost 2GB RAM from a host which cannot afford it to a guest which doesn't need it. I would start by reducing the RAM allocation in the VM settings to 1GB. I would also turn off 3D acceleration, since XP hardly benefits unless you are running 3D design applications.

Then we can see where we are.

Finally, it's quite possible that a USB device may be unstable when running in a VM. Controlling physical devices is not really the forte of VMs.
