Hang on Android black screen

Hello friends!!!

I've just installed Android on my Virtual Box (Windows 8.1 64 bit).. it successfully installed, but when i run it, it hang on android screen (Snapshot attached).

Please help me how can i fix it...

(I am using Virtual Box 4.3.20 and Android iso android-x86-4.4-RC2)

Unfortunately Android is not a supported guest. If it works, it works. You're pretty much on your own in trying to search for a solution.

I've installed Android as a guest twice now for no reason other than user questions. It sorta works lol

On Mac hosts, once it's running you can't see the cursor which makes it more than a pain.

To the OP question, make sure you select Linux 2.8/3.x (32bit)

The problem has been resolved after update the Virtual box.

Your welcome although you started using VB 4.3.20 which is the current version. Unless you decided to try the test build.
