I can't get my VB to connect!!!

Hello everyone! I have a little problem that's making me fail my classes...

I have VB installed on a windows 8, 64-bits. I installed Centos 7 on that virtual box, and runs just well... so far so good. The problem starts when I want to connect to internet, or any network for that matter. I have the network setting on my VB like this:

- Enabled network adapter: check
- attached to: Bridged adapter
- Name: Broadcom.11n (That's my whireless network adapter)
- Adapter Type: Intel PRO/1000 T Server (82543GC)
- Promiscuous Mode: Allow all

- Cable connected: check

A friend of mine has these settings and his VB works just fine. However my problem is that my virtual box gets stuck in "connecting" but it never connects. What's wrong? Is it my VB? My network adapter is not compatible? are my setting flawed?

ANY HELP IS WELCOME!!!

Bridged and wireless don't always play nice. Bridged networking is outside the wireless specification. It may or may not work. Some combinations of Routers/Access Points, WLAN cards and drivers work, some don't. See: Bridging & Wifi - Supported hardware. For example, it works fine in my home, but not in my office. Same laptop, same VM. Try to see if it works either with wired bridged or with NAT.
