Run HP ScanJet Windows 7 Enterprise Guest Crashes VB
Just installed 4.3.20 and its extension pack on a Ubuntu 12.04 host. Ran HP ScanJet to scan document and as it is about to begin the scan, oracle virtualbox aborts.

Do you have any logs? See: Minimum information needed for assistance.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Hi,
I opened the logs and with the log open, started HP scanner application. As soon as the scanner is about to scan, virtualbox dissappears from workspace. The log did not change after pressing 'refresh'. Virtualbox main app (where one selects a guest, alters settings etc.) stays open. The log, VBox.log (assuming log.1, log.2 are older) is below and to be clear, there was no change in the content of this log once the virtualbox guest crashes/disappears. Could not post entire log, have truncated it from the beginning:

OK, this is way too difficult to read like a normal log, so here what you do:
- Zip the VBox.log.
- Edit the message above and DELETE all the log lines.
- Attach the zipped VBox.log.zip.
- Zip the VBox.log.
- Edit the message above and DELETE all the log lines.
- Attach the zipped VBox.log.zip.

Re: Run HP ScanJet Windows 7 Enterprise Guest Crashes VB
Hi,
There was NO change in size of any of the VBox logs. I have cat them to one zip file. Also VirtualBox displays a box which I have taken a screen shot of. If it logs, I am not sure where it logs to with what it displays in the box.
The image pops up right virtualbox crashes and disappears which occured immediately after I tried to scan a document. The scanner software was open, clicked on scan, hear scanner warm up .. the POOF! Gone.
