manually install network bridged adapter ? (windows 8.1

i am running the portable version of virtualbox 4.3.18 on a windows 8.1 update 1 host.

when i go into the virtualbox settings and tell it to start with network support. i then shutdown virtualbox. restart virtualbox and i get the error "network config sample has stopped working".

i was wondering if there was a way to manually install the network driver that virtualbox needs for the bridged adapter to work.

You need to ask the developer. Portable VB is heavily modified and not supported here.
