Hello,
I had Virtualbox pre-.16 running great on a Win7 Pro Host. Linux Lubuntu 13 as the guest OS. I was long overdue upgrade to both the Virtualbox software and the guest OS. Clean install on Vbox (v.18) and the guest OS (version 14 of Lubuntu). Multiple times...but the same problem: I can get IP traffic to the guest OS...but NOT DNS resolution.
I am using NAT for networking. But even changing those settings does not reslove the issue.
I loved using VIrtualBox and Linux a month ago.....and I would really like to use it again....help would be appreciated.
Guest w/o DNS resolution, no web, no email

What is your default gateway and DNS information? I don't have Lubuntu (but Ubuntu should be close enough) and I have:Fredrick Mack wrote:I am using NAT for networking
