libguestfs can mount QED and QCOW disk images on Mac OS X, but it is too complicated and heavy on the system's resources. On the other hand, vdfuse versions available online can only mount VDI, VMDK, VHD, HDD and RAW disk images; and qemu-nbd is not useful for mounting because there is no NBD for Mac yet. So, is there any other alternative method to mount the disk images in question on Mac OS X?
