[Solved] Internet only in some virtual machines

Post by Fielding »

In my portatil under windows 7-64 i would like :

I am using an alfa 1000 mw for wifi signals.
How can I connect only with certain virtual machines, but not in the host ?

That is :
1. Don't have connection in the host
2. Have connection in the virtual machine.

Best Regards

If the "alfa 1000 mw for wifi signals" is a USB device, then you can create a USB filter and if you plug the device after you've started your VM, VirtualBox will not allow the device to be seen by the host, only by the guest.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
