I can't find any fixes about this in google. Whenever I run a fresh install of virtualbox with no VMs or Guest OS my internet connection will be turned to "limited access" and can't fix by troubleshoot. In order to have the internet connection again, I need to close the Vbox then run the troubleshoot again and fixes.

The problem identified always is "default gateway is not available". As I said this only happens when I'm opening Vbox.

Also again, don't give me solutions about NAT, Bridge, etc. because I know them and it falls under if you have VMs or Guest OS and I said again there are no VMs yet in my Vbox.

I forgot to mention that my host is Windows 7 Ultimate. Version of my Vbox is 4.3.20.

I tried versions 4.3.18 and 4.3.12 still the same issue.

I need to fix this because I have report to submit. Thanks!

Are you running anything else that would modify your network connection? Like LMI Hamachi, a VPN client, etc?

Have you disabled all other connections when you fire up VB?

Have you tried setting your NIC settings manually instead of DHCP? Is your DHCP server getting in the way?

Mind dump! :D
