I'm trying to set up a server on virtualbox, therefore I need Bridged Networking, and it will only allow port forwarding for NAT, not bridged networking. Help?

If you use Bridged Networking, then you shouldn't need port forwarding, sine your guest VM would be on your LAN directly.

Or, are you talking about port forwarding for access from outside your local network?

Then you need to setup port forwarding outside your server, which has nothing to do with VirtualBox.

Bridged networking means you already get all the TCP ports that the host could have - and in fact all other network traffic too, so the concept of port forwarding from the host is redundant. Obviously the VM has no ability to "forward" packets it doesn't have.

Misero, As the other guys have said, since you have set your server guest to Bridged, you have everything that your host PC can get, because the guest server is on the same network as the host PC is.

Most folks have a modem/router or some such device to connect their PC to the internet. If you do too, you'll have to get into that device's settings to do the port forwarding you require. The manufacturer of that equipment will have instructions on how to do so.
