I notice high CPU utilization when running 1 or 2 guests with VirtualBox 1.6 on openSUSE 11.0 beta (especially an openSolaris guest which pegs one of my 2 CPUs at 100%).

Any gotchas/best practices when it comes to setting up VirtualBox to run multiple VMs simultaneously? I have a need to run 6 - 7 virtual machines for work purposes on a dual core machine with 3GB of RAM for demo purposes (mimicing a data center)>

This should be possible with VBox 1.6. But make sure you disabled the USB controller for all VMs as this device induces a notably load on the host system. We will improve this in future releases. If that does not help, please open a bug report and attach the VBox.log file of one VM session to that report.

Thanks...turning off USB support in the guess appears to have fixed the issue with high CPU utilization on the host.
