Versions 4.3.14 through 4.3.18 are fighting a security-hole-patching issue that involves a discovery that malware on the host can apparently use Virtualbox to elevate privileges and do nasty things. The fixes are ongoing but cause new users some problems - take a look at the Windows Hosts forum stickies. 4.3.12 was the last good version before the security hole issue was discovered. The security hole exists in 4.3.12, but if you keep malware off your host PC you should be OK.

Check if your server has VT-x on the CPU and enabled in the BIOS, and you'll be able to use 64-bit guests and multiple processors in the guests - best if your host OS is 64-bit, too I don't know if it is. If you can't turn on VT-x, you'll be limited to one-processor 32-bit guests.

Beyond that, you're limited by your host CPU core count (hyperthreading doesn't count) and host memory. Within those limits, run guests to your heart's content. Have fun!
