Windwos 7 x 64 Quad core. 6Gb. 2 Tb
I have two problems:
First:
when I try run VM, VirtualBox say:
Fallo al abrir una sesión para la máquina virtual pfsense ORIGINAL CON REGLAS SIN ASTERISK.
General failure - DON'T USE THIS!!!. (VERR_GENERAL_FAILURE).

Second: I was remuved the Avast 2015 Internet security, because Avast 2015 delete my VM´s

Hi,
I had the same error but no VM's were deleted.
I had to remove avast 2015, and also used the Avast Cleaner utility.
Next, I had to remove VirtualBox 4.3.12 too.
Rebooted and installed 4.3.12 again and it is working again.
I did not install AVAST again.

Seems there are some problems with AVAST since last Windows update Kb 3000850. It looks like it afects only x64 machines.
In my case after install that 3000850 the system was unsuable, I even could not remove any programms so at the end I had to do a restore from a older System Image.

Machine UUID {8fcaaf32-e54d-42a9-8043-d18d2b706005} in 'C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\ng\NgBase\NgBase.vbox' doesn't match its UUID {4a234159-c0f8-430f-9ae9-41d825c89b0d} in the registry file 'C:\Users\marco\.VirtualBox\VirtualBox.xml'.

these are two VM added by avast. VirtualBox 4.3.18. Avast seems that uses virtualization mode and they said it VirtualBox problem. Appears in the windows event log a process erases avast VM

This problem was fixed in VirtualBox 4.3.20.

Thank you. Avast says it is resolved in version 2015.10.0.2208. But I do not think so. I still think it's a problem of virtual machine avast.

I installed the newest versions of both software
