Using a Linux VM as gateway on a MAC

Hi All,

Currently I am running VirtualBox 4.3.18 with Extension Pack installed on a Macbook and I have a CentOS guest running on it.

- The Macbook is connected to my home network(no other network, vpn, etc...) via wireless
- The Linux Guest is used as gateway(I did the necessary configuration). It is connected to my home network directly(Bridged network) and also to a VPN.

So what I do on a Windows Machine(another machine in my home)
- route add xxx.xxx.0.0/16 ipAddressOfTheLinuxGuest
- telnet an ip port on Linux(a ip in the vpn actually, like xxx.xxx.50.50)

That does not work..... However, when I additionally do the followings on Macbook, it starts working
- route add xxx.xxx.0.0/16 ipAddressOfTheLinuxGuest(on Macbook)
- telnet the ip port(on Macbook)

then, I am able to telnet the ip/port from my Windows machine.

Does anyone have an idea how I can solve that, it is really boring to telnet all ip/ports from the mac first :)

Thanks
