See Minimum information needed for assistance.

The simple answer is yes it is possible. One way is to use Shared Folders. See the user manual. https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04. ... redfolders

You should have posted this in Using VirtualBox, or Windows Hosts, or Linux Guests. Anywhere but Windows Guests. :)

You can move any kind of data file from any PC to any other PC, regardless of OS's involved, and whether the PC is real or virtual.

A more important question is whether the data file is likely to be usable in the intended application. In the case of text there any many variables (ASCII vs accented vs unicode, tabs vs spaces, EOF character, EOL character(s) etc). There are no guarantees - all you can do is try it.

If you were thinking VirtualBox might do some kind of automatic conversion - it doesn't. It is a VM, not a migration tool.
