Hi,
As of yesterday I'm unable to launch either Windows (7 professional x64) or Linux (Xubuntu 14.10 x64) virtual machines, from a powered off state, virtualbox throws up an error message (shown below) stating "General failure - DON'T USE THIS!!!".
My host system is Windows 8.1 x64, running version 4.3.18 of virtualbox, with guest additions installed on both virtual machines. I'm thinking maybe it's due to one of the Windows updates that I applied earlier this week? I also updated my Avast install to 2015.10.0.2208, but it looked like the anti-virus issues were fixed with 4.3.18, so probably not this?
Thanks for any help!

Re: can't launch virtual machine - "General failure"
Seems to be several other people posting with the same issue, is there no word from virtualbox about what might be causing it to be unusable all of a sudden?

Re: can't launch virtual machine - "General failure"
I would try downgrading to 4.3.12, or try the 4.3.19 test build.

Updating to 4.3.20 seems to fix the issue, thanks guys!
