Windows Updates Fail to Load

Guest OS: Windows 2008 without Hyper-V, SP2
Host OS: WIndows 7 Professional, SP1

A few days ago my MS Updates started to fail during installation. It will go through the DL, initial load, reboot process, then as it is finishing the reboot install at Step 3 of 3, it errors and backs everything out.

Event ID= 20 log error:
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80071a91: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Server 2008 x64 Edition (KB3003057)

It repeats the same Event ID and message for these: KB3003743, KB2992611, KB3010788, KB2993958, KB3006226

I have tried loading one at a time but no luck.

Any help much appreciated!
