VBox 4.3.18. Failed to attach the network LUN

Host: Windows 7 Enteprise x64
Guest: OEL 5.5 x64

I just created a new VM for Oracle Linux 5. I receive the error when I start the VM to to install the Guest OS for the first time.

I have been working on VMWare for several years, and it is very disappointing that every single time I have tried to create a VBox VM, I have gotten any kind of error with no fast solution found.

The error means you're using bridged networking but didn't allow the bridged networking driver to be installed on your host when you installed VirtualBox.

You will get similar errors with VMWare if you fail to install the drivers it needs.

Either use NAT networking, or reinstall VirtualBox with admin rights, and don't untick any of the install options.

Yes, I had problems to install the VBox bridged network adapter. The VBox installation simple failed without any meaningful message about the reason of the problem. I had to search the web for almost one day. The problem seemed to be that I was reached the max network drivers installed.

I uninstalled the Windows Virtual PC software (and its network driver) and then the VBox installation finished well. The VBox bridged network is successfully installed, but undoubtedly not working properly. I attach a screenshot about this installed driver.

The current installation was made running the VBox Installer with admin rights. I did not change any installation options.

I have another VBox VM which someone delivered to me already created and it has configured a Bridged Network. It doe snot show the same error message but it cannot connect to the pyshical network.

So that, I have installed the VB bridged network, but it is not working well. How to troubleshoot this situation?
