Hi,
I use a 13" MacBook Pro with VirtualBox version 4.1.12
The VirtualBox has Windows in it. Due to a recent
update to the operating system, OS X, from 10.6.8
to 10.10 I am unable to use the VirtualBox and all
the applications I had running inside of it.
If anyone could throw some light into this situation,
as well as the time that it could take to solve this,
I would be very grateful.
Thank you in advance, kind regards,
igmolinav : ) !!!
P.S. This is the first time I post. If there is something
wrong with my post, please let me know.

You could try re-installing VirtualBox!
Good luck!

There's nothing wrong with your post, but what exactly did you expect to happen? VirtualBox 4.1.12 is far too old and if it no longer runs under the latest OS X, we can't fix it (Apple could, but they have no reason to). You simply need to install a more recent VirtualBox version. See https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads for current downloads.Iggi wrote:I use a 13" MacBook Pro with VirtualBox version 4.1.12

Hi,
Thank you for your messages : ) !!!
Yes, I didn't updated as often as
I perhaps should have done!
Would it possible to do the updates
now, without downloading a new
VirtualBox? The reason for this,
is because it would take a long time
for me to get the information I
already had in it.
Kind regards : ) !!!

Updating Virtualbox itself should not destroy your existing guests. They should all re-appear in the updated Virtualbox window.
Of course, a backup would be a good idea before doing anything with data you do not wish to lose.
