Clipboard/RDP problem and finally screen resolution ignored

Hello,
I have Windows Server 2012 running in an oracleVirtualBox which is hosted on Windows-7.

First I had the host-only Adapter and then the clipboard worked and RDP worked too starting from the normal RDP dialog box.
Then I needed access to the internet from the guest (=WindowsServer2012).
So I changed the network adapter to NAT.
Then, indeed, the internet worked.
But now two strange things happened:
First, I cannot send Strg-Alt-Del on an RDP session.
Instead I have to open the RDP session (i do get a connetion). Then I change to the virtualBox and send Strg-Alt-Del from there and then I can continue with the RDP session.
As soon as I establish the connection via RDP the usual RDP window is gone and I only see the guest. From here I cannot send Ctrl-Alt-Del anymore.
Secondly the clipboard does not work even though I set it to bidirectional in the General Menu and there in the Advanced sub menu.

Would anybody know how to fix these issues?

Thank you
Andi

HI again,
now I changed the settings back to host-only adapter and deleted the NAT network connection.
Doing that I can now log in again from my RDP session without going over the VirtualBox.
But now it doesn't recognize the screen settings anymore.
I run it in global settings, Display with the suggestion of 1024x768.
But the VM ignores that completely and takes over the settings from the host ==> 1920x1200.
How come and what could I do?
