Firefox error while launching(no display specified)

Hi,
HostOS: Mac OS X
GuestOS: RHL 64 bit.

I had installed Hortonworks sandbox(RHL 64 bit) on my MiniMac OS 10.9.2 and I was able run hadoop commands without any issue; I got below error when I try to launch firefox.
I connected VM using Mac Terminal(ssh) and was trying launch firefox.
[]# firefox
Error: cannot open display

Can someone help me?
