Ubuntu 64 bit

I was attempting to install 64 bit Ubuntu on my Windows 7 host laptop. I got to the who are you window, entered my name, went to click on password and got a critical error stating there was a failure during the install and that I could say ignore or hit okay to stop the install. Hitting OK was recommended. I attempted it again, got to the same window, entered my name, went to click on; "login automatically", but received the same error.
