Hello. I installed the latest VirtualBox after i formatted my system and created 2 VMs. When launching the guest, the window is very small, i see only bottom bar covering 80% of screen. The resolution is like 100x40. When im selecting the edge to drag it to increase size, the border of the box resets immediately. I am unable to resize the window and i cant click anything inside the VM.

Edit: It works fullscreen and only fullscreen. When im trying to adjust size manually by dragging the edges it resets to this ultra small size

My friend just had this exact issue with VirtualBox Version 4.3.18, I suggested to him to uninstall the current version and to install an older (stable) release after seeing this post as it must of been a recent update that's caused it, installing version 4.2.26 didn't work to begin with, after uninstalling and installing again it seemed to work perfectly again like usual. seems to be some sort of incompatibility with the latest version and windows 7 and by going back a few versions it removes what ever is causing the issue.

You can also disable automatic updates for now and wait for a newer version to come out before updating, to prevent it from happening again.
