OS X vm boots into Virtualbox BIOS-like screen?

Post by Cheewii »

Hi, I am running a Mac OS X Mavericks virtual machine on VirtualBox, and it's been working great for about a month or so. However, it's been getting randomly Aborted and closed, usually when I plug out my USB flash drive (connected to my Virtual Machine). This hasn't happened before, and would only show that my disk hasn't properly ejected. No damage is done to my USB, but the same thing happened again today and now when I start my virtual machine, I see the boot screen, boot0: GPT, boot0: done7. Afterwards I get brought into a screen where I can choose boot/device/boot maintenance manager, and it looks like a VirtualBox BIOS of some sort. Here's a screenshot. I . imgur . com/jf33wgX . jpg Selecting and changing any of the options presented doesn't do anything, nothing boots. Also, for quite a while since before this error, I have been getting a window saying something like "hardware could not be referenced 007312x0000a (random numbers with an x)" and also a Virtualbox window saying "one or more virtual hard disks is inaccessible", however these errors have never affected my virtual machine before this. Additionally, previously closing my main Virtualbox window would close my virtual machine too, but this no longer happens since this error, and might give a clue to what's happening. Any help will be appreciated, thanks!
