LM 17 Cinnamon: Qt 5 developed app not displaying properly

I am running Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 32 bit and 64 bit in VirtualBox 4.3.18 on a Windows 7 64 bit host. I am also running a Linux Mint 17 Xfce 32 bit virtual machine on the host. I am developing a Qt 5 application and it doesn't display properly (items missing) with 3D acceleration enabled in the VirtualBox display settings for the guest virtual machines of LM 17 Cinnamon. There is no problems with the LM 17 Xfce virtual machine displaying the Qt 5 app properly with 3D acceleration enabled.

I also ran the application in Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit in VirtualBox with no problems.

I believe that you really need to be asking the Mint folks this question. You have already proved that it works except the cinnamon DT on two different guests.

I agree. I posted a bug report with the Linux Mint Cinnamon bug report site. Thanks for the reply. As a note, I installed the Cinnamon desktop on Ubuntu and the problem re-appeared.
