Il y a quelques temps j'ai installé VirtualBox sur mon PC (Win pour pouvoir installer Android sur une partition VirtualBox et faire quelques essais. J'avais suivi un tuto pour ça, très confiante et ça a d'ailleurs plutôt bien marché

J'ai par la suite désinstallé la machine virtuelle Android puis j'ai désinstallé VirtualBox. puisque je n'en avais plus besoin.

Je me retrouve avec pleins de partitions dans mon gestionnaire de disques que je ne parviens pas à supprimer/récupérer sur C:
J'ai tenté de réinstaller VirtualBox pour pouvoir supprimer ces partitions mais elles n'apparaissent pas dans le gestionnaire de médias VirtualBox

Bref, je suis perdue

Je ne sais pas si je suis très claire dans mes explications, je n'y connais pas grand chose en disque virtuel non plus :-p

Perhaps the translation isn't working too well - it says "Partitions", and VirtualBox doesn't create any partitions in either host or guest. It only creates normal files, and the only time you wouldn't be allowed to delete them is while the VM is still running.

If you have been creating lots of snapshots then those do indeed take up lots of disk space. You can delete them in the GUI, or you can clone the VM and select "current state only" which will collapse the entire VM down to a single VDI again. You can then delete the old VM.

The VM files are stored in <user documents folder>\VirtualBox VMs\*. Reinstalling the software will have absolutely no affect on data files, just like it has no affect on any other of your applications. Does reinstalling Excel cause all your XLS files to be deleted? I really have no idea what people are thinking of when they expect this.
