hi,
Is it possible that when vb is running in the background i will be able to see vb disk (and os) during my work from my host computer, windows 7, as an addional HD? like connecting a usb.
furthermore, because i am using vb for visualizing android os, will i be able to extract logs as if my original phone was plugged into the computer? if yes then how?

thank for the helpers. looking forward to hear from you.

EZ

I've successfully used IMDISK TOOLKIT to mount Virtualbox .vdi disk files in Windows 7 (64 bit).
See: http://reboot.pro/files/file/284-imdisk-toolkit/
But obviously it can't work while the virtual machine is running.

No. PCs are not designed to share local disks, and a VM is a PC. You can however use shared folders which can give a similar effect.

And btw, there's no way that attempting to open a VDI from the host, while the VM is running, will cause damage. It won't work, because the VDI is locked, but it can't cause damage because the host doesn't allow write access. Perhaps you shouldn't be so quick to pull the reinstall trigger - analyze the problem a little first.
