Host Virtual Box 4.3 Windows 8.1 <-----> Guest Windows XP SP3 Pro
notebook DELL Inspiron 1501
I have tried to connect to USB port of notebook FT232 UART drive / AVR-JTAG-USB programmer/
to my Guests but it does not work.
Add hardware wizard recognises the devices and attaches them like Unnown device, when either guest is
launched the devices are connected and ticked as though available
but the guests systems do not recognise the devices. When I tried to choose Win XP drivers I use for that FT232 UART
from driver folder , system answered - No compatible drivers files in that folder.
On clean instalation of Win XP thees driver works.
Help me please !!!

Re: FT232 UART drive problem
In the VM settings | USB, create a matching USB filter for the device.
