So I right clicked the setup wizard and ran it as admin, then im assuiming you were referring to this part (see attached .png file) but what exactly am I supposed to select, I thought it was installing all those subfeatures by default. When I click them it doesnt show me anything to acknowledge that it is installing them, and which one should i select? Entire feature should be installed? Everytime I've installed virtual box it says i lose connection for a second. I am installing the right virtual box right? VirtualBox 4.3.18 for Windows hosts? I shouldn't be downloading the linux version right? that wouldn't even work

ok will this next picture is what i see if i only select network. Now for the record Ive had all those selected to be installed before and I still have this error. I'll try again, making sure i select Entire feature will be installed but I don't see how this will change anything. So unless i select will be installed to run on network nothing in this installation process is changing from how ive done it before

I don't need a blow-by-blow on what you are doing. I just need to be sure that you are installing everything. Finish the install and reboot the host then see if the guest works. If it does not then we need to see why and that is going to need to be followed up in a private message as I will need to ask for information that should not be visible to the world. I will ask for that in a private message.

This issue just occurred to me today after a windows 10 update which indicated that an aspect of the dual band driver was no longer compatible with the latest version of Windows 10 (trying to get the original wording, but will need to re-boot)

Windows seems to have disabled the functionality of the bridged adapater - change to "intnet" by using the internal network selection instead.
