I installed VM last year on my Windows7 to be abble to use my embroidery digitization software which is on ly compatible with XP or vista.
There is a USB security device that needs to be plugged in one of the USB ports but VM will not recognize that a device is attached to the port
and so the software will not start. If i move my cursor to the bottom of the VM screen on the liittle USB icon ,it will indicate that no USB device is attached altaugh i have 3 devices attached to the USB ports. I am still updating Vista But i had the same problem with XP too.
Actualy i plugged in USB flash drives too and they are not seen in the XP or the Vista VMs either they are recognized in the host Winows 7. Is this a driver issue ? Please let me know what would be the solution?
